Contour and Detail Surveys in Central Coast
Contour and detail surveys across the Central Coast, from Gosford and Wyong to the lakeside suburbs and coastal villages.

Local Knowledge
The Central Coast mixes flat coastal and lakeside land with bushland hillsides and rural-residential acreage. Properties near the lakes and waterways often carry flood and foreshore considerations, which makes accurate ground levels essential.
Conditions change street to street here, so the scope is set per property rather than by a standard package. A lakeside flat and a bushland hillside a few minutes apart need very different plans.
We work throughout the Central Coast and nearby Morisset, Brooklyn and Wisemans Ferry.
Council Requirements
Central Coast Council requires current survey plans for development applications, with particular focus on flood-prone foreshore land and bushfire-prone bushland blocks. Detail surveys should show Australian Height Datum levels and existing vegetation clearly for those assessments.
Foreshore building lines and bushfire setbacks both get assessed against measured levels and vegetation.
Property Types
Waterfront homes, rural-residential acreage, lakeside properties, bushland blocks, coastal estates.
FAQs
Does a lakeside block need a flood study?
Often, yes, and the contour survey provides the AHD levels the flood assessment is built on.
What about bushfire-prone land?
Slope and vegetation drive the bushfire rating, so both are measured and shown on the plan.
Will the plan show the foreshore building line?
Where one applies to a waterfront property we show it along with the existing levels and structures, so your designer knows exactly what they are working within.
How do you price a job on the coast?
By the property, not the postcode. Send the address and we will tell you what the site actually needs.
